Mia's POV

I stood at the window, my gaze fixed on the cityscape below, lost in my thoughts. It had been a long day, filled with the usual hustle and bustle of the corporate world. Nathaniel was engrossed in a series of meetings, his mind focused on the challenges that lay ahead.
