"Lucy, is this how it all went?" Darren asked, snapping her out of her thoughts. She quickly plastered a fake smile on her face and nodded her head.

Darren was thrown off for a while, he couldn't believe that Sharon would do such a thing. Well, he could believe because she was Sharon afterall, he just didn't know that she would do such a thing. It made no sense to him.

"Well, she lied. I actually sent for you because I have a guest and I wanted you to show him to his room. I didn't call Sharon at all, she lied to the both of us."

"What did she say? Wait, you have a guest right now? I'm sorry I didn't come earlier, I'd have if not for Sharon. I'm sorry, alpha Darren." Lucy pleaded, while staring at with a smile on her face.

Darren was surprised and shocked. He wondered why she was acting that nice towards him, even when he knew he didn't deserve it from her. There was something different about her, but he just couldn't point it out.
