Emily’s POV

“I won’t have the conversation here no matter what!” I shouted angrily. I was prepared to move off but Dan stopped me by holding my hand.

“Calm down…” he told me softly. “We can have the conversation downstairs in the bar over a cold drink. If you like, we could get a private room for ourselves. Being outdoors in the garden is also a nice option. Just don’t leave. I had you come here because this is very important.”

I decided to listen to me. It was easier since he had given me options. A bar would not be too good since the barman would be around. Others might want to use it as well and this would make things go the way we didn’t want.

Also, getting a room alone with Dan was very dangerous especially since he wanted to break one stupid record of his. I didn’t want to be a testing instrument. The best place was the garden which could be suited to have only two of us. We could have drinks and the breeze would be refreshing. The only issue was that it was a sunny afternoon. W
