Time for Action 

Anna's POV

“Oh, I understand…” Charlotte rushed and held my hand. “You can leave at any time, okay? Let's just go clubbing! The thing is that it starts officially by eight. That's when the real party begins!”

“I will think about it but I'm gonna leave for now. The meeting will start soon so you should go to put things in place as well…” I told her carefully.

This was how I was set free from Charlotte's hook for now. I would have to tell Smith if I wanted to go clubbing. It was not a choice for me. It was compulsory since he was my husband.

I decided not to talk about what I had learned about Smith and Elena for now. It was in the past so it didn't matter but I would still tease Smith about it once I found out the whole truth.

I prepared for the meeting since we had been told the time already. I saw Elena earlier. She said ‘hi’ before I did so I guess she had forgotten about what I did to her the day before yesterday. It was nice to let things go actually.

Some minutes before the
