Thirty-Four

Titan woke up with streaks of sunlight on his face. The first thing he did was reach for Olivia and it angered him how much he was getting attached to her.

He sat up and noticed she wasn't there. He touched her side of the bed hoping to feel her warmth but it was not there, which meant she had woken up for a while. He washed his face, shaved, and took a shower before heading downstairs.

Even before he reached the kitchen, he heard laughter reverberate through the house. Olivia. He caught her scent. It wasn't the first time he heard her laugh, even though she hadn't actually laughed at his words or actions, he had heard her laugh when she and Ryan spoke or when Asher teased her.

But there was something about this one that made a small smile creep on his lips. He schooled his face into a blank mask.
