Thirty-Seven

Olivia had stayed up through the night. As much as she hated to feel pity for herself, it was evident that Titan would stop at nothing to see her miserable with his uncontrollable need to dominate and control her.

It was almost like an obsession which would have been fascinating if it also wasn't somewhat annoying. He would not let her go out on her own, he would not let her own a mobile phone, and if it was up to him, she would probably not communicate with any of his friends either.

Locked up, sheltered, and kept away like an incarcerated rat. No one had it this bad.

She was determined to avoid him as usual and not indulge his excesses. If she wanted peace she had to be left alone to bask in her solitude like always.

Maya came into her bedroom at that moment, and Olivia rearranged her face into a smile.

"I designed an elaborate board game for us to play," She announced.

"Sounds awesome," Olivia said with a smile. "Still feeling sorry about your party?"
