Forty-Three

The morning was windy. Olivia had shown up for breakfast, only to find Asher there.

"Morning sunshine," he greeted.

Olivia dished some oatmeal and spent time putting a lot of fruits on it. "Hey Asher, where is Maya?"

"She uh…went shopping."

"Shopping?"

"Well, she said she was long overdue for some new stuff. Shoes, bags, and the likes."

"Oh, I see,"

"That's basically all she does with Titan's money. Shops till she drops."

Olivia managed a small smile. She wished she could shop too. She and Asher engaged in small talk, but then he finished his breakfast before her and left the dining room.

Olivia looked around, feeling more alone than ever. The more she taught about it, the angrier she was at Titan for leaving her here. And then yesterday, he had been calling her. Calling her for what exactly?

She left the dining room and moved upstairs. She had planned to go to her own bedroom, but on an impulse, she went to Titan's bedroom.
