Third Person's POV It's been almost two weeks since everything happened, and Thaddeus is still a mess. He hardly eats and barely sleeps. He hasn't left that room, he can't!Thaddeus wants Aiden back in his arms. He wants things back the way they were. Thaddeus misses holding Aiden. He misses the way the Omega would climb on top of him in the middle of the night. He misses the beautiful sound of his purr. He missed looking into his beautiful blue eyes. He misses how the Omega would glare at him when he got angry, ‘Goddess, he was adorable when angry!’ Thaddeus thought. It's been three days since he's been back home, and he hasn't left this room. He can't, not until Aiden wakes up. The doctor said I got him there just in time. He lost so much blood he was moments away from dying. His poor body was so badly beaten. That bastard hurt him so bad, not just his back, but down there. The doctor said it was the worst she had ever seen, and the internal damage was extensive. He was so torn he
Third Person's POV Thaddeus didn't understand what he had done wrong. His mate wouldn't let him touch him, and the way he jerked his arm out of his hold hurt. His heart ached; he felt like the biggest failure. It was becoming more obvious that Aiden blamed him for what happened to him. He must be disappointed that his mate couldn't protect him. What kind of Alpha can't protect his Luna? Thaddeus wondered as he reached down to rub the phantom pain in his leg, just to realize he couldn't feel it. Another harsh reminder of how useless he is. Thaddeus growled as he swiped everything off his desk with one swoop of his arm. Hateful words echo in his head that his first mate said to him. The look of disgust flashes in his head. The way Aiden looked at his legs the first time he noticed they didn't work sent a pang to his heart.Zeus whimpered as he receded to the dark recesses of his head. Thaddeus can't feel Aiden. He's not sure if it's because his walls are up or if it's because of what
Third Person's POV Aiden woke up feeling warm and comfortable. He nuzzled into his pillow when the weight on his back suddenly moved, and fingers raked through his hair. His stomach dropped, and he squeezed his eyes tight. A whimper slipped past his lips as fear took hold. Hands grip his shoulder, and tears begin to fall, knowing he's back. Aiden prays he'll just go away. Maybe he won't rape him again. Maybe he won't beat him this time. He's sick of the pain; He doesn't want to experience it again.Aiden’s breaths become faster and it becomes harder to breathe. He can hear a voice, but it's distant and muffled, as though he was underwater. Aiden feels paralyzed by fear, unable to move as an arm wraps around him, adjusting his body. A hand firmly turns his head and presses his ear against a bare chest. Aiden begins to feel an incredibly strong vibration against his face. The vibration is strong, and the sound coming from the chest is loud. It breaks through the cage that held him pris
Third Person's POV It's been three weeks since Aiden returned, and the nightmares are slowly disappearing. Aiden learned after waking up that Eric was killed, and only Jackson escaped. It made him feel a little better; It was one less person that could hurt him. But the fact that Jackson is still out there terrifies Aiden. He knows that monster won't stop. Aiden and Abigail have been training harder for the last few weeks, perfecting their abilities. The better they get, the stronger their abilities become. Aiden began training with Marcus a few days after he began training with Abigail again. At first, it was difficult. The Omega had never sparred before, and he knew nothing about self-defense or attacking anyone. Marcus worked one-on-one with Aiden and was incredibly patient and understanding. Slowly, the Omega began to learn and got better at it. He's not as good as those who have been doing it for years, but everyone is proud of how far he has come. Two days ago, they started
Third Person's POV Aiden is a ball of excitement as they enter the human city. He's always wondered what a human city looks like compared to theirs. As they drive through, the Omega realizes they are not much different. “It looks like ours. It's smaller than I expected,” Aiden said, and Thaddeus smiled as he nodded. “That is because the cities here in the UP are generally smaller. One day, I'll take you down to the mitt and show you what a real city looks like. Down there, some cities are as big as our whole territory.” Aiden loved the sound of that. He couldn't imagine a city that big. “They have shopping malls bigger than our pack house,” Thaddeus said, and Aiden's mouth hung open. They pull into a parking lot, and Aiden is filled with excitement. He looks at the restaurant and is immediately impressed. Aiden gets out of the car and walks around to the driver's side as Thaddeus pulls his wheelchair from the backseat and begins assembling it. It's the few times like this that A
Third Person's POV Aiden fell asleep on the way home from their date. Thaddeus reached over and ran his fingers through the Omega's hair every chance he could.Thaddeus glanced at Aiden and decided he would take Aiden to meet his mother once this was all over. They have a cute little pack. It's almost like stepping back in time when you enter their village. The thought of his mom meeting his mate swelled the Alpha's heart, and warmth spread through his chest. It was near midnight when Thaddeus parked in front of the pack house. Thaddeus smiled when he reached in and scooped his mate out of the front seat. Aiden barely woke. He made an adorable noise as he wrapped his arms around the Alpha and buried his face in his neck. The Alpha's heart swelled, and he pressed a kiss to Aiden's forehead. “You're so adorable, my love,” Thaddeus said as he moved them forward. Aiden barely heard what the Alpha said. He was too sleepy, too comfortable, and too cozy in the Alpha's arms to pay attention
Third Person's POV Thaddeus felt the wind shifting around them when his canines were still embedded in Aiden's neck. It started as soon as he felt the bond was restored. When he looked up, Aiden's eyes were glowing before they closed, and he slumped against him. “Aiden!” Thaddeus called out. His stomach sank, and he was unsure of what was happening and if Aiden was okay. Thaddeus grits his teeth when he feels a sudden surge of energy flow through his body. He grunts as he throws his head back and grits his teeth harder as it becomes more painful. Every muscle in his body locked up, burning as they tightened. The wind became stronger around them, and Aiden's body heated up in his arms. Thaddeus forced himself to look down and was shocked when he saw Aiden's body glowing bright red. He looked as though his body would ignite in flames at any moment. The Alpha was scared and confused. He had no idea what was going on. He wasn't sure if his powers were going haywire and the Omega would
Third Person's POV Aiden was excited for breakfast. He licked his lips as they walked toward the dining room. His stomach rumbled; he couldn't wait to eat. Unfortunately, as soon as they entered the dining room, his stomach turned from the scent of all the food. Aiden tried to ignore it and was successful until he sat down and his food was placed in front of him. The smell was so intense that the Omega's stomach lurched. His hands slapped over his mouth as he jumped from his seat and ran for the bathroom.Aiden barely made it there in time. As soon as his face was over the toilet, he emptied what little was in his stomach before continuing to dry heave. Aiden can barely hear Thaddeus's frantic voice over his dry heaving. He heard Thaddeus trying the door and was thankful it was locked. He didn't want the Alpha to see him throwing up. Thaddeus banged on the door when Aiden wouldn't answer. Thaddeus was seconds from tearing it down and stopped when he finally heard the sound of Aiden'
