As the jet took off, I felt a mixture of relief and apprehension coursing through my veins. Shit was about to hit the fan, wasn't it? It had been hard to keep up with Chloe and the many complications she constantly had tied with her!

Why couldn't we live a normal life in New York?! It wasn't extravagant and there was no one pampering us and all that shit, but we were happy. We were happy until David steppes into our lives.

I settle into my seat, keeping a watchful eye on Adele, and sniffed. Chloe deserved a much more happy life. A life separate from all this rivalry nonsense and constant hiding. Since we came back to.this stupid place, there had been nothing but pain and suspense. Tristan wouldn't be out for Adele if Chloe had never come back to claim some dumbass company.
