I sat on the edge of my bed, lost in my thoughts, contemplating the choices I had made. Should I have told Damien about the bracelet? Maybe I should have lied, claimed it wasn't with Belinda. But that small cut on my finger had given me away, revealing my secret. It was too late to take back my words now, and regret consumed me as I replayed the scene in my mind.

I knew how Belinda could be, she was capable of anything if Damien told her about the bracelet I would be done for.

I dragged myself out of my musings with a sigh I pushed myself off the bed and made my way to the bathroom. I was getting late.

A refreshing bath was just what I needed to clear my mind and prepare for the day ahead.
