Tristan pov

Lyla was very upset with me that she couldn't gage any other conversation. She stood up and left angrily. I can't believe I told her such a thing. I sat down still on the same chair, unable to move or say a word but what shocked me the most is that I didn't regret saying anything to her.

“She must be really pissed.” I muttered to myself and remembered the disappointment in her eyes after what I said. Lyla has never been the persistent type of person with what I have to her dye will never bother me again.

I finally had the strength to stand up, so I stood up and walked out of the hotel, the moment I was out I sent a message to the driver to come pick the car while I followed a cab back home. After what happened just now I don't think I'm in the right frame of mind to drive myself back home.
