Chapter Seventy-one: Ariela's Judgment Day.

"Where did you go to?" Alpha Janus asked as soon as Rendall walked into his room. Rendall scowled at him.

"What are you doing in my room?" Rendall barked.

"You had gone missing and I got worried. Did you go hunting again?"

"How is it your business? Why are you being creepy?" Rendall frowned at the man relaxing on his bed. Since his arrival in Wulfe, his private space had been invaded.

Alpha Janus sighed. "You're my heir. Naturally, I'm concerned about you."

"You're just being nosy. I am more than capable of taking care of myself."

"I know. With your wolf around whenever you need it, I have fewer things to worry about, but you still have to be careful and shouldn't underestimate the werelions of Khron."

"If you had not attacked Khron, we would not have needed to worry about the werelions," Rendall snarled and Alpha Janus looked away.

"If I had not attacked, they would have."

"Do you think their Alpha is as insensible as you are?" Rendall snorted.

"How dare you?" Alpha Janus snapped. "R
