Evading Them..?

Liam blinked his eyes repeatedly as he stared at Cole whose blood had formed around his head. He had gotten to Cole before the man realized what was happening.

He had no idea how he did it, but he was thankful he was the one who made it out alive.

The scene which he had been trying to bury for so many years flashed past his eyes. The maniac who bolted into an orphanage and shot down several children out of rage.

He had vowed not to ever shoot a gun again as he was often reminded of that incident but most of all, he was afraid he'd lose control of himself and do the same thing again.

"Follow the sound of the gunshot!" He heard behind him and instantly realized he was still on the run. He threw down the gun as he wasn't planning on killing any other person, then ran through the clear path.
