ALLISON POV

"Hey again,"

I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Tristan approaching. I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes. It was becoming a regular occurrence to bump into him, and frankly, I was tired of it. I wondered why he kept interrupting me. It wasn't as if I was the most attractive female colleague, and I doubted he was attracted to me; he only chose to annoy me.

Raising my palms to stop him, I watched as he tilted his head, frowning.

"What's up? Did the boss do something to you?" His gaze roamed up and down my body, making me uncomfortable.

I shrugged in response, not because I didn't want to answer his question but because I didn't feel like it.

Besides, there was Chase. I glanced at the surveillance camera, which I was sure he was watching me from. I scowled before turning my attention back to Tristan.

"What part of 'I don't want to talk to you' don't you understand?" I tried to sound calm, but my tone came out harsher than intended.
