48- "Walter and Wendy..."

"Walter?" I decided to finally call the person by his name.

And that was enough to get his attention as well as the attention of the woman with him. Their gazes both turned to me.

Walter was surprised as he eventually came to recognize me.

“Tamara?” he uttered in a tone he couldn’t almost believe he would see me here.

I smiled and nodded. Yeah, he was really my friend—Walter Mendoza.

He walked to me and the quiet woman behind him followed while not breaking eyes on me.

“Tamara, it’s really you!” He chuckled when he was in front of me and held me on my shoulders having a closer look and making sure he was seeing me before his eyes. “Hey, what’s up? How are you doing, man?” He hugged me in his usual friendly manner.

I chuckled, too, and responded to his friendly gesture. “I’m alright, man! How are you doing, too?”

When we separated from that quick hug, he cockily shrugged his arm.

“Fine, as usual. Anyway, what are you doing here in Hong Kong, huh? I thought you were in the Philippines?”
