Chapter Seventy Eight

She slumped against him the fight going out of her or so he thought, gently he rubbed her back,

‘Why were you crying little cat?’

He asked softly and grunted in pain as she dug her elbow into his groin and sprang away from him,

‘I don’t want your fucking comfort. I don’t want you. Just leave me the fuck alone.’

She screamed at him then found the seat as far away from him as she could get in the confined space of the private jet, grabbing the blanket from the back she curled up with her back to him. She was crying harder now and he longed to comfort her but sat back not knowing what to do for the best. Her soft sobs tore his heart out and sent his Wolf crazy but he knew he had to be careful she had very nearly rejected him, she did not know that but he did.

Atalanta slept the rest of the way to England, she had stirred when the Stewardess asked her if she wanted anything to eat or drink shaking her head vehemently,

‘No, go away, leave me alone’

She spat at the poor woman hunching close
