Wanda looked at Sage in confusion. "Mrs. Holcomb, aren't you helping Mr. Holcomb upstairs to rest? He might catch a cold if he sleeps on the couch in this weather."

"He's not a sickly man. He won't catch a cold so easily."

Sage raised the blanket she was holding. "Also, I got a blanket for him, didn't I? Just put it on him."

She felt that this should be enough to express her gratitude.

Wanda took the blanket. She was a little hesitant. "Mrs. Holcomb, isn't this the blanket you placed on the lounge chair to step on?"

Sage liked to go around barefoot at home. She also liked to jump and stretch on the lounge chair for no reason. So, she tossed a blanket on the chair to prevent it from getting dirty.

"It's okay. It's not dirty," Sage said. "I don't have any extra blankets other than this one."

Wanda glanced at the various pretty and clean blankets on the bed and in the chair. She looked like she wanted to say something.
