Ian didn't insist. He got up, went to the fridge, grabbed a bottle of cold water, and drank it all in one go. Afterward, he thoughtfully served Sage a glass of warm water.

Tiana arrived half an hour later.

Upon entering the room, two people in the living room came into Tiana's view.

Sage was reclining on a long couch with her legs propped up high, reading some kind of document.
