A taste of you

It was all black as the mansion bustled with people moving to and fro that night. The anniversary had just concluded and people were already leaving for their homes except for a few family and friends.

Dressed in a black long velvet dress, she walked down the stairs towards the boys who were drinking around a table at one side of the foyer and she smiled as Amos winked at her.

He stood up from the table as he caught sight of her and he walked towards her.

"Nat, you're overworking yourself and you need to rest. What else do you need? Let me help you out," he requested, seeing the anxiety written all over her face.

She smiled wryly as she looked at his handsome face. He was donned in a black suit which fitted him perfectly.

"I'm fine, I just need you to help Adrian," she said, looking at where Adrian was standing, discussing with a few men.

"Adrian is doing just fine, he is getting back on his feet slowly," he said with excitement.
