Chapter 22: "Yours and Mine"
Ice's day was normal and quiet today. It's just like the typical things that happen to her every day when I still don't know Trixie exists...
"Audrey?", she called.
She immediately missed Audrey's voice... That little innocent voice that she always wakes up to in the morbid mornings. She hoped that she would eventually talk to her. She was her only escape. She got up from her bed and put on her slippers-- quietly-- obviously something had changed. She turned to Ice and looked at her.
"Yes, Ice?", she replied to her surprise which immediately put a smile on her lips. Is her tantrum over?
"I'm sorry... Are we okay now?", Ice apologized to her and lifted her up.
"Yes... But I'm not mad at you..."
"I thought it was because of me."
"No... I just really needed time. I don't think Trixie will do that to us either... I'm sulking and I just don't want to talk to anyone first.", she explained as Ice lowered her.
