Chapter 13

Rafe's heart was pounding in his chest as he stumbled out of the door. He had been feeling weak and dizzy but he was determined to find out if Ivy was okay. He had to know if she was safe.

Normally, he would run over there but today was not one of those days. He grabbed his keys and stumbled out into the night. His vision was blurry, but he managed to make it to his car. He fumbled with the keys, trying desperately to get the door open. Finally, he managed to get the door unlocked and he stumbled into the car.

He quickly started the engine and drove off into the night. He was driving faster than he should have been, but he had to get to Ivy as soon as possible. He didn't know what he'd find when he got there, but he had to know if she was okay.

The drive seemed to take forever, but eventually he made it to Ivy's house. He stumbled out of the car and up the steps to her door. He sniffed the air to take in her scent. Ivy's scent was present but it didn't seem like she was home. Perhaps
