The next time Cathy woke up she had to squeeze her eyes shut as soon as she opened them. She was in a very white room. The walls were white, the lights burned a bright white fluorescent and the bare ground was just as white.

After being drugged to sleep for so long she couldn't bear to open her eyes to the brightness.

Worst of all her hands were tied above her head and because the room was so bright she couldn't even raise her face to see what she was tied to. Her arms hurt even worse than when the brotherhood abducted her and tied her up like a pig in a meat shop.

When she tried to move out of her tight position so that she could find some relief for her arms, Cathy realized that her naked body moved in such a slow motion that it seemed like she was moving in her imagination and wasn't really moving in real-time at all. The drugs from the arrows were still in her system.
