After Jamie left, I returned to my penthouse and put on my clothes. I grab my phone, my keys, and dashes out of my penthouse again. I get in my car and head to Minerva, where I thought she would be.
As I drive, I keep calling her. I called her several times, yet not once did she pick it up.
Her phone keeps directing me to her voicemail box. I want to talk to her personally, yet I can’t do it if she doesn’t answer her phone.
I keep calling, and calling, until suddenly, the call can no longer be connected. She has switched off her phone, I can no longer reach her.
