I watched how Camilla walks away towards the elevator, and I kept processing what happened. I thought that I should really pay more attention to what I say and to whom. This spell worked for my advantage, but I should have been able to use it more wisely. My lack of control over my abilities scared me a lot…
“Ms. Eder…?” Samil shattered my stated of daze.
I flinched and immediately focused on him.
“Y-yes?” I called smiling nervously.
“Hope that my fiancé didn't say anything rude to you. She has quite a temper…” he stated, concerned.
“N-no… She just… asked me about the other secretaries… I told her… that they were fired the same day you hired me, Sir,” I decided to choose some harmless part of our conversation.
“Are you all right, though?” he asked leaning over to me, “You look pale…”

Another day at work ended. I sat on the bus home feeling slightly upset that I didn't accomplish what I wanted.
