Damon's POV

I didn't want to leave her. I wanted to stay and explore every inch of her--inside and out. The minute she mentioned Torrance's night visit, I knew it couldn't be good.

I make my way to the study where I know he'll be waiting. That is one thing that unnerves me about him. He seems to always know where I'm at, like some sort of shifter intuition.

When I open the door, he standing by the windows facing out. He looks solemn. I knew it would be bad.

Upon hearing me, he turns around and his face is grave. "Another death your majesty. This time it's further away. They attacked the Alpha of Red Dawn."

"That's Alpha Benjamin Ronin. Torrance, where have I heard that name before?"

"Your Majesty, that's the father of Aleena Mills. Leena's grandfather."

That's right, the documents he recovered from Silver Rock's pack house basement. It included the ledger of members, and all information of those who joined from other packs.
