Chapter Eighty Five

I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding when I saw a dead man. This man was one of Sienna's guards. He was a tall man, and he was still holding his gun in his right hand. He lay slumped against the bathtub with four bullet holes across his chest. His shirt was painted red, and his eyes were still open.

I turned back and kept my gun up. There was a gust of wind blowing through the broken window that made me shiver. The wind seemed to be whispering taunts, almost cackling even. I heard soft moans, and they were almost undetectable.

My blood ran cold. It was now that my hands shook. I looked towards the walk in wardrobe, pointing my gun at it. As I walked closer, I could hear the sound of heavy breathing. Slowly, I pushed the door open, standing at an angle.

"Eric?" Sienna called out.

It's Sienna! I thought as I exhaled a sharp breath of air.

"Sienna?" I whispered as I struggled to see in the dark.
