Chapter Fifty

"Disobedience, incompetence and stupidity will not get you anywhere. I thank you for your service Mr. Lombardi, but I think it is about time your son took over your position."

I scowled while looking at the man and his son who was standing among the people in the audience. His son was no better but perhaps he would like to prove himself and do a better job.

"On this occasion there will be no bloodshed. I won't do things my father's way. Mr. Moretti and Mr. Bianchi, your sons will also take over your positions," I said loudly, and every word that came out of my mouth came bearing power.

I watched the other two men bow their heads to me. I was giving them mercy, which was something that my father had lacked.

"Now that that is settled, who is the fucking idiot that let Bianca die?" I shouted with my fists clenched. Every vein in my body itched and when I said her name, I choked it out. "I said who the fuck allowed Salvatore to enter my house?"

My chest began to heave again, as m
