Chapter One Hundred and Fourteen

"What?” I exclaimed. “You bought me an island?" I shook my head, feeling at a loss for words.

Since forever, I had dreamt of having my own little piece of earth to call home and escape to whenever I wanted. I blinked, still in shock.

"It's beautiful," I said, rubbing my eyes. He truly outdid himself.

"Don't cry," he soothed.

"I am not," I mumbled.

He walked away from me, leaving me to stare out at the world full of endless possibilities. I heard him rifling through a drawer, so I tore my gaze away from the sight and looked at him. He walked up to me again, and this time, he was holding something in his fist.

He was nervous, that much I could tell. He was also biting the inside of his cheek. My heart skipped a beat when he knelt on one knee before me. It was like the world stopped for this moment.

"Will you marry me, Sienna?"
