Chapter One Hundred and Three

Eric carried me all the way upstairs and laid me down on the bed. Fuck, it was nice to have him carry me. I shivered at the thought of me dragging myself up the stairs just like before.

"Did you have a bath?" Eric asked from the bathroom.

Oh shit, the bath. The one I never took. He popped his head out and looked at me. I rubbed the back of my head before I spoke.

"I was going to do that before Maya rudely pointed a gun at my face," I told him.

"Do you want to have one now?" he asked.

I knew he would help me but I was too tired and I didn't want to be a bother. "No, I am tired. You were right." I sighed.

He smiled before he headed back into the bathroom. I typed something onto my phone and a minute later, a guard entered the room, dropping some painkillers and a glass of water on the nightstand.

I really wished there was something stronger I could take. After taking the pills, I shuffled on the bed and pulled the cover over myself, leaving only my head out. I saw the light
