Shane had a deep dislike for the Lycan King, Kira had noticed it a while back. Though she still wasn't aware of what the reason might be, she couldn't risk making Shane mad at her by asking. Kira was a naturally curious person but even she knew not to probe into some matters. As for the upcoming trip, she was surprised to see that a lot of people weren't interested in it at all, She would have at least thought they would be excited at the thought of being in the outside world and away from the mad pact even if it was for a single day, but it was the complete opposite, almost everyone would rather stay back than participate in the trip. Kira just assumed they were intimidated by the principal's words, they would after all be given a death sentence for every single mistake they commit, for such a group of people who were so used to violence it might be difficult for them to control that urge
