Chapter Twenty-Eight

Shannon’s POV

It was the second time I would be getting into a car with any of my potential mates. I carried the tray and placed it in front of me before I dug into the food, savoring the taste of it. When I was done, my stomach was full. I got into the bathroom and just like Cole said, there was everything in place for me to use.

I took a quick bath and when I came out, I picked up a simple shirt and jeans and wore them. I brushed my hair with my fingers before I picked up my backpack. It was old, but I didn't have to worry about that anymore because Cole would probably get me a new one before the day ended given the rate at which he was fussing over me and everything that had to do with me. I headed outside of the palace and in front of it, he was seated in his car waiting for me.

“What about Ricky and Jules?” I asked, looking around expecting them to materialize in front of me.
