Chapter Twenty-Nine

Cole’s POV

I watched on with a lazy smile playing on my lips as Shannon dug into the chicken wings immediately after they arrived at our table. She didn’t care much for etiquette or anything of that sort, she was hungry and all she wanted to do was eat.

I had thought about taking her back home but I decided against it, the day was still young and it was pointless to spend the whole day in the mansion, so I had decided to take her to my favorite restaurant a couple of miles away.
