"You weren't ready for that, were you?" Roman asked, with a wry smile on his face. He wanted to stay and relish his grandfather's expression but then he needed to find Jamie.

In the next second, he walked out of the door. For a moment, he felt guilty that he had left Bryce in a messed up state, but then Bryce had it coming for him.
