It was a new day and the sun shone brightly.

Roman was pacing before the window in his study, in thought. He had been in turmoil ever since what had gone down last night.

Nicole had passed out in his arms and he couldn't even explain what happened to her.

"Boss…" Someone called from behind and Roman turned to look at him.

The person was his driver who was now his assistant.

"Yes, Lucas." Roman replied, with raised brows.

"I couldn't find one, boss. Penetrating different packs isn't easy." Lucas said, his gaze hardened.

At his words, Roman sighed loudly. He had ordered Lucas to get a healer as Nicole had not woken up yet. But then there were a limited number of healers and they couldn't be found in the human world.
