I sat in the garden, thinking about my ruined paintings and the events that took place after that woman walked in to the Mansion.

I didn't get enough time to process what had happened to my canvases because I had to sit across from Elijah's mother and get looked at as if I was an ancient artifact in a museum.

The woman didn't make any comments towards me directly, but she did spoke in a mocking manner towards Dalinda and mostly Cane.

She must have called him by the wrong name with each sentence that came out of her lips and it was annoying the heck out of Cane.

I have to say, I was shocked when he poured something in to her tea, mixed it with a pen and told her to drink it. It was obvious that it was not anything healthy and it showed the hate Cane carried for the woman.

I fished my phone out of the front pocket of my hoody before I checked the text Elizabeth had sent me earlier while the three of us were having a face-off with Cilvia.
