I stood by the corner of the sitting room with my arms crossed over my chest.

Annoyance was burning my heart as I moved my eyes across the room. Not having my eyes on Ella was going to drive me insane.

Dante walked over to me and stood with his back pressed against the wall.

"You seem annoyed." He commented.

"Yeah, annoyed at you." I replied, making Dante chuckle.

"Oh please, the man wanted to speak with his granddaughter for a while. Why should I stop him from doing so"? He asked.

I couldn't stop myself from clenching my jaw in annoyance.

After the meeting was done, Albert suddenly wanted to speak with Ella alone. While I wanted to say no, Dante jumped in first and said that it was fine.

I don't mind Ella speaking with her grandfather. I just didn't like the fact that he wanted to speak to her alone.

I'd returned to the sitting room just in time to watch Ella being told by one of the guards that Albert wanted to speak to her.
