~At Parker’s Mansion~The whole mansion and compound was lit up with beautiful lights and decorations. The air was filled with the aroma of different food delicacies. The living room was also filled with so many people of great caliber and status. It was Charles’ fiftieth birthday, and Helen had thrown him a birthday party. She invited all of his friends from near and abroad. “Happy Birthday, Charles. Here is a little present from me.” Freddie said as he hugged Charles tightly. “Thank you so much, Freddie. You never disappoint.” Charles responded, collecting the bag of presents he gave to him. He gave the bag to one of the waiters and asked him to drop it in the room where they kept all the presents. “Where is your son and his wife?” Freddie further asked. “Oh, they should be on their way here. They are running late because of work.” Freddie smiled and bounced his head. “Your son has finally snatched my daughter away from me. She hardly comes to visit. All she does now is call
James walked out of the spotlight and headed to where Amelia stood. Her eyes were glued on him like she had never seen him before. He got closer to her and slowed down. He swallowed hard and stood in front of her. “Can you give me another chance?” James asked with his face so close to hers. Amelia gulped and looked around to see that people had shifted their attention to the next person that was giving his speech. “Why were you kissing her?” Amelia responded, and James smiled feebly. ‘At least she wants to talk to me now.’ He thought. “Before I answer that question, please let me ask you another question. Can I?” He further asked. Amelia exhaled softly and bounced her head. “What?” “Do you still love me at all? Any little feelings? I promise to manage it.” He uttered, and Amelia lowered her head. James’ eyes widened in fear as he stared at her. ‘What is taking her so long to respond? She doesn’t love me anyhow? Is this because of Elena or Fred? Is that how quick feelings die?
“So…” James moved his hand on top of hers and held it slightly, making her close her eyes slowly. “That night, we were supposed to do it.” He added, and Amelia nodded. She opened her eyes and looked at him. “We can do it now, right?” Her voice was filled with hunger for pleasure, and James could hardly hear her. “Do you want us to?” He further asked. “I have never done it before, and I don’t have any gifts to give you.” She responded, and James giggled. “You don’t have to give me any gifts. You are a special gift to me already.”Amelia smiled heartily and moved closer to him. She laid on her right side and lifted her head in the air with her right hand. She got so close to him that she could perceive the soap he used to bathe. James kept smiling as he moved his right hand to Amelia’s fair and smooth face. His hand touched her cheek and her ear found its way in the middle of his fingers. Amelia closed her eyes and rubbed her cheek against his palm even more. She couldn’t help b
Amelia and James rode in the same car to the company. James refused to let her drive because he believed she was still hurting from the previous night. That wasn’t the only reason though, he didn’t want her so far from him. So he kept her by his side as he drove and held her hand too. He stole glances of her beautiful face as he drove. One way or the other, she looked more gorgeous to him than ever. He believed it was as a result of what happened the previous night. James parked the car at the parking lot and told Amelia not to get down yet. He ran to her door and helped her open it. “What? That was why you told me not to alight?” She asked, and he giggled and bounced his head. “Yes! I wanted to help you open up. Isn’t that a good reason?” He asked, and she chuckled. “Of course, it is. I’m just a little surprised you want to help me with the door. That’s so sweet of you.” She complimented and planted a soft kiss on his cheek. “Is that a thank you from you?” “What do you think?
“Ermm, Patricia, can we start with the makeup now?” James asked, pushing her off him slowly. “Ohh… yes. Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to..” “It’s fine. Let’s just go straight to business. Time is fast spent already.” Patricia moved away from him and reached for her large bag. She pulled out her large makeup box from it and placed it on the table. She opened it and began to look for the shades to use for James. As she got prepared, Amelia walked in again. She had two cups in her hands, one had coffee and the other had warm tea. “Mr. James, I’m back.” She said with a large smile, and James looked at her and grinned. “Welcome back.” He responded as Amelia stretched the cup of tea to him. “Coffee?” He asked, and she shook her head and chuckled. “I know you don’t drink coffee, okay? I wanted to say tea, but coffee fell out of my mouth instead.” James giggled and took a sip from the cup. He closed his eyes and a wide smile curved up his lips. “I love it! Thank you.” Amelia nod
Freddie sat in the private room in his mansion. He was going through some documents, when all of a sudden, he heard a knock on the door. “Who is it? You know I hate being disturbed when I’m in here.” He responded, without looking up. The door opened despite his words of warning, and he looked up to unleash his anger on whosoever it was. When he sprang to his feet and saw who came in, his words just stuck in his throat. “Mr. Freddie, it’s been years. How are you today?” He asked and walked in majestically. “Mr. Hopper?” Freddie responded with great shock. “Why do you sound so shocked? I told you I’ll pay you a visit one day. You can’t expect me to just forget I have a daughter somewhere. Can I sit?” Hopper asked, walking to the single seater in the office and sitting before Freddie could say “Yes”.“But… Why didn’t you tell me you will be paying me a visit? I would have made more preparations.” Freddie said nervously, rubbing his palm on his thighs. “Well, I never thought I woul
“What are you talking about, uncle!” Amelia yelled and sprang to her feet. “Elena is your sister, Amelia. She is your twin sister!” He responded and also sprang to his feet. “Noo… that is impossible. Elena can never be my sister. Do you know how much that girl hates me?” Amelia asked in anger. “I’m sorry, but I didn’t choose that, okay? Can you at least let me finish explaining?” Freddie asked, and she shook her head aggressively. “I would love to hear from that man outside.” She uttered and stormed to the door. “That man is your father, Amelia! He isn’t just a man.” Freddie answered, following behind her. Amelia stormed out of the office and headed to the living room to look for Hopper. She got to the living room and found Hopper sitting on the couch and doing something on his cellphone. “Amelia…” Hopper heard Freddie call, and he looked up to see Amelia in front of him. She stared at him speechlessly. “Heyy…” He said and stood up. “I want to hear everything from you.” Amel
It was exactly a week Amelia last spoke to Freddie. They had no contact whatsoever since she found out the truth about her parents. Freddie didn’t bother to call her, and she was still very mad at him, so she didn’t bother to contact him either. He believed she needed time just like Hopper had told him. Amelia sat comfortably in the living room, her legs crossed on the couch, a bowl of popcorn on her legs, and in front of her was the large television with her favorite movie playing. Since she found out the truth, she had been so sad and pretty depressed. She often woke up in the middle of the night, crying and staring at her parent’s portrait. James thought of ways to cheer her up a bit, and started off with taking a one week break from the office with her to reduce pressure on her. He began to stay in the kitchen and started learning how to cook which impressed Amelia a lot. He searched online for beautiful ladies stuff to buy her, and even went ahead to look for interesting ro
