My heart raced and pounded as I sat there in the car, the thoughts of what would have happened if he hadn’t let me go raced through my mind, I could have been killed by him.

I looked back the house, wondering if I should go back to check up on him, if he was fine and okay.

I wasn’t sure of what was wrong with me, but I was more worried about him when I should be worried about myself. That man almost took the breath out of me, he almost killed me and I couldn’t even stop thinking about him. I couldn’t stop bothering about his well being, if he was fine or not.

As much as I wanted to know that, I knew really well that going back in there would be very dangerous, I couldn’t afford to have him choke and pin me down to the wall again.

I dipped the key into the ignition and zoomed out of the compound, heading back home.

I couldn’t do what I promised Sebastian’s parents that I’ll do, I couldn’t bring back their son, but I should even be grateful that I could
