Heart wrenching

Vivian and Regia both relieved the past at that moment. Their minds drifted back to a heart-wrenching memory from the month before Vivian and Veronica's eighteenth birthday. Her parents had been invited to a gala, leaving Vivian and Veronica unsupervised for the evening.
