Just when the classes was over and I tried to get Elijah's attention, he ignored me, walking straight to his office where he had gone to get his bag. Then the next, he was out of the school at lightening speed.

But I couldn't bear the torture, I knew what was coming, but I had almost died from the anticipation. So, I decided to take things into my own hands and the next minute, I stood right in front of the mansion that had belonged to Elijah Carson.

It was late, and well into midnight with the full moon bright, illuminating the path that led to his place and the cold night breeze slapped my skin, mocking me. If it wasn't for the fact that I still remembered the address to his house when I hail d down the taxi, I would have ran back home.

Ringing the doorbell a few more times, I bit my nails agitatedly, tapping my feet frantically against the ground when no response was forthcoming from the other end of the door.
