Chapter 14

HER hand looked so tiny compared to Gideon’s, but they seemed to fit each other in a strange way. They were holding hands while sitting in his car, which was parked in a hidden part of the parking lot.

“I have to go soon,” Lyzza told Gideon, who still couldn’t let go of her hand.

His lips protruded, and then she noticed the frown in his expression. She had been sitting in his car doing nothing for almost an hour. Gideon kept holding her hand and stealing kisses from her every now and then.

“I was thinking of just pulling you out and training under my wings so that you could not keep leaving me whenever you have a flight.”

She lightly flicked his well-pointed nose. “I came here to be a flight attendant. Not to be your employee in your office.”

Gideon sighed, tracing circles on her fingers before kissing the back of her hand.

“I know, Strawberry. I shouldn’t hinder your dreams.” He then looked at her. A small smile escaped his lips. “What time is your flight? Is it nine-thirty?”

“Yes,”
