"The report is with me, bud," Alejandro said as he opened the door. "The old woman and the neighbors confirmed that your wife was found by the seaside. She was asleep for a few months in the small hospital on the island. The old woman named Erlinda is a simple high school teacher, it’s understandable that she doesn’t have enough money to put your wife in the big and better hospital."

Gideon took the folder that Alejandro handed him and read Lyzza's records in the small infirmary on the island. His suspicions were confirmed. She ended up on that island after falling off a cliff.

"She's here in Manila with the old woman's son. The name is Senen, and he is one of the representatives of the academic contest... something, I don’t know."

"A man?" he asked bitterly. Of all the things Alejandro said, Lyzza's companion's name was the only thing that caught his attention.
