Nagtatakang tingin ang pinukol sa akin ni Cade matapos makita ang taong naka sunod sa aking likuran.

"Who is he?" he asked as we settled down to the couch.

"Cade, this is Carlo." pagpapakila ko sa kanya habang nakaturo ang aking daliri kay Carlo.

"He is a friend of mine. We have known each other for almost three years."

"What is he doing here then?" pabalik niyang tanong. He still maintains a serious expression.

"I will also ask him the same question." then I turned my attention to Carl.

"Why are you here?" I can see the hesitation in his eyes, but later on, he starts to talk. "Someone sent me here." he started. "He said that I will be working with someone."

"What do you mean by that?" biglang tanong ko sa kanya.

"Are you working under C?" Nagtatakang napabaling naman ito sa aking gawi.

"Yes, I'm working with him."

"How come na nagtatrabaho ka under him. Ni hindi kita nakita na pakalad kalad or even your name in the files maliban nalang kung-"
