Chapter Seven: Lied

SHE had been sitting in front of the computer for almost fifteen minutes when Adam suddenly called her.

"Ruby, could you please contact the Administrative Department and ask Mr. Garcia to come to my office?"

Confusion clouded her face as she realized she didn't know anyone named Mr. Garcia in the Administrative Department.

"Is he a new employee, Sir Adam?" she asked, taken aback, while dialing the number for the Administrative office.

"No! He took over Danrick Santiago's position. He's the new head of the Administrative Department."

She accidentally dropped the telephone due to extreme shock. "W-what? W-why?" She couldn't think of any reason to fired him from his position. Danrick is a hardworking man. Even Sir Aston, he has nothing to say but always positive feedback about Danrick's performance.

Adam shrugged. "I just don't like him. That's why I replaced him."
