By the time I woke up the next day, William's side of the bed was cold. I made breakfast for myself before dressing up and asking Cedrick to drop me off at Shayna’s office so I could spend her lunch break with her.

“Bailey,” Shayna shouts turning the head of others who were present in the lobby. She runs up to me and engulfs me in a warm hug.

“Way to make an entrance,” I respond, laughing as she releases me. “I’ve missed you,” I say, smiling at her.
