The golden rays of the sun flooding into my room the next day woke me up, It was as though the sun was reaching out to me, inviting me to start the day, I grumbled to myself as I walked over to my phone on the table to check the time and it was past eight William would probably be gone by now I thought to myself as I made my way down the stairs. Yesterday, the exhaustion caught up to me as Cedrick drove me home. The smooth ride lulled me to sleep and I kept fighting to keep my eyes open throughout the ride. Immediately Cedrick dropped me off and I bid him goodnight, William wasn’t done at work at the time I came back so I didn’t bump into him as I made my way up to my room. I showered, changed into my pajamas with sleepy eyes as the shower didn’t help me stay awake, and went to bed.I hummed to myself as I rinse off soap from my skin under the shower. Cedrick pulled up in front of the library, As I climbed into the car, I noticed a figure in the front seat- it was William's dad, How was he already here, I thought I was supposed to pick him up from the airport, a thousand thought clouded my head as I sat down. “Hello Bailey dear, how have you been and where William?” William’s dad asks me as Cedrick drives.“I have been good sir and Williams is at the office How are you here already? The sun shone on my face, stirring me from my sleep. I glanced around the room as I struggled to unwrap myself from my duvet. I must have entangled myself in my sleep. I finally freed myself as I raised my head to take a peek around the room and William was nowhere to be found, he must have gone early to work as usual. I got up from the floor that I slept on last night. I felt the coldness of the tiles through the duvet. This made me remember the last time I slept on the floor in his dad's house. At least that time, there was a comfy rug, it provided a bit of comfort.I stretched out my sore limbs, sleeping on the floor would do that to you, it was so uncomfortable and this was how I was going to spend the next heaven knows how many nights. From my spot on the ground, I watched Williams' motions. He exited the room after he finished dressing up for work. It’s been three days now since William’s father, Mathew, had come to stay with us. The reason he was staying with us, which I later found out from Matthew himself, was due to an upcoming board of directors meeting that he was obligated to attend every year. It has been a week since I went out with the girls for a pampering session. Today, I was accompanying William’s dad, Mathew, to go golfing at a prestigious golf club that he was a member of.
