The sun shone on my face, stirring me from my sleep. I glanced around the room as I struggled to unwrap myself from my duvet. I must have entangled myself in my sleep. I finally freed myself as I raised my head to take a peek around the room and William was nowhere to be found, he must have gone early to work as usual. I got up from the floor that I slept on last night. I felt the coldness of the tiles through the duvet. This made me remember the last time I slept on the floor in his dad's house. At least that time, there was a comfy rug, it provided a bit of comfort.I stretched out my sore limbs, sleeping on the floor would do that to you, it was so uncomfortable and this was how I was going to spend the next heaven knows how many nights. From my spot on the ground, I watched Williams' motions. He exited the room after he finished dressing up for work. It’s been three days now since William’s father, Mathew, had come to stay with us. The reason he was staying with us, which I later found out from Matthew himself, was due to an upcoming board of directors meeting that he was obligated to attend every year. It has been a week since I went out with the girls for a pampering session. Today, I was accompanying William’s dad, Mathew, to go golfing at a prestigious golf club that he was a member of. I’ve never golfed before or even ever considered doing it because it sounded boring and it was always classified as a rich people sport but there is surely a first time for everything, right?Mathew was taking me to his private golf club so I had to dress appropriately since it was obvious that we were likely to not be alone. As we took our seats, a waiter came over to our table almost immediately.“What drinks can I get you both?” he said and Mathew glances at me first before back turning to the waiter.“I’ll have a martini on the rocks. What about you Bailey, what you have?” He asks me.“A Sex on the beach,” I say and the waiter nods leaving us, he returns after a short while with our drinks. William’s P.O.V.I gently adjusted my posture as I moved my head from left to right, This was an attempt to get the relentless ache out of my neck. I sunk further into my chair closing my eyes. Here's to ending yet another stressful day at the office, I knew I was a workaholic, it was a badge I wore with pride and latitude. I usually never come into the office during the weekends but today was an exception as an urgent matter needed my attention here and I guess it pulled me back to the office today. The next coming days are very crucial. My company is launching a new product soon and I have to do everything in my power to make it a successful launch and nothing less.I opened my eyes after a few minutes and picked up my slick iPhone to glance at the time that read that it was past noon before placing the phone back face down on the table. I shut down my laptop, and closed the files on my table before getting up, picking up my keys and phone, making my way to Luke's office down below.

She stirred a bit up but didn't wake up as she mumbled some incoherent things in her sleep. After all, I was the one who instructed her to sleep on the floor when the bed was big enough for more than two people to share. The past two days have been very weird.Let me start from the beginning.I woke up the next day to find myself sleeping on a comfy bed instead of the cold hard floor I had initially slept on. I was wrapped with my duvet on my body like a burrito, with a damp towel on my forehead.
