I have angered the devil, did I really have to open my big mouth to defy him?

“What did you just say?” He asks again, making direct eye contact with me. He glared at me, daring me to repeat it. I was squirming so hard at this point, No wonder he was known as a ruthless billionaire, that glare was so brutal it would terrify even the bravest of men.

Holding onto the sides of my clothes with my right hand. “I said no,” I say, trying to seem strong. I have mustered up all my courage to stand my ground and face him. On the surface, It might look like I wasn’t scared but deep down Heaven knows terrified was an understatement for how I truly felt. “And I won’t be returning either your laptop or your keys, you don’t scare me.”
