My mind raced as I climbed out of the elevator, and then I headed straight for Mr. Blackwood’s office. After the information from Jimmy, I had returned to my room to find over six missed calls from Mr. Blackwood, but they had come last night, earlier than the time Jimmy’s mysterious man showed up. In fact, I believe it was during sex with Jimmy that I missed those calls.

That left me worried. Does that mean that Mr. Blackwood really showed up at my place last night? But why would he do that? What could have happened? He has been acting strange lately.

As I got to his office door, I found the door half-open and I paused. Was he not around? I contemplated on knocking but I doubted he was inside, so I further pushed the door open and walked in gently.

Like I guessed, there was no one at his table, but his suit on the hanger suggested that he had shown up for work. I turned around to leave but just then I found him standing right behind me.

“Oh my God!” I screamed and jumped back in fear.
