Chapter 12: Reckless

Time passes so slowly that I can’t even move on where Caleb left me. I just followed what he said. The clothes that I could wear were in the room. I touched the dress—cotton silk that was so smooth, but Caleb got mad because of this. I sighed and forced myself to go to the servant’s room until I saw the clothes on the bed. I closed my eyes and made a facepalm. I changed my dress to a pair of shirts and jeans. Then I clean the kitchen and look outside. Definitely, I had no choice but to go out now.

“What are you still doing here?” I looked up as I heard Caleb’s voice.

“I’m sorry—”

“If you do not go out, I will leave,” He left the mansion without looking back. I gulped down, trying to hold my tears. I always end up having trouble because of not doing what others want. I closed my eyes and let out the pain in my heart. I have known him only for a few weeks. Why am I being hurt a lot? Tears continuously streamed down my cheeks, and I slowly sat on the floor. Suddenly, a growl hit my ears.
